Cardboard Chair  In my eighth grade STEM class, I was assigned to create a cardboard chair with a group of fellow classmates. The chair was designed to hold the most weight possible, and collapsed after holding over 1,400 lbs.

Cardboard Pinball Machine  One of the first projects in my highschool enginerring classes was to design a functioning pinball machine out of cardboard. The pinball machine has functioning flippers and launcher, and is fully playable.

Wooden Bridge  In my enginerring class in high school I was assigned to create a balsa bridge that would cover a span of ten inches. After finishing the first bridge I was allowed to recreate it out of bass wood. (Shown above)  The balsa bridge held 94.5 lbs before breaking, and the bass wood bridge did not break even with a full bucket of sand weighing 85 lbs.

Prosthetic Hand Prototype  For the final project in my engineering class, I was allowed to create whatever I wanted, as long as it would be a challenging project. I decided to create a prosthetic hand, due to all the moving parts and more complecated modeling needing to create a functional design. The final piece is a 3D printed hand that grips down whenever the wrist is bent.
